5 weeks new ~Newborn Photography ~Oakley Antioch

I am often contacted after babies are born asking if I have availability. My schedule fills up fast, but due to newborns delivery dates always changing I have last minute openings here and there. However, I always advise parents after two weeks the session can go a little differently. Babies don’t like to be naked as much, they don’t sleep as long, and their need to be held and snuggled can make for a longer session. We can still get some great shots, but usually not as many and not your typical sleepy newborn poses. But a few good shots is better than none of this precious early time. This little beauty was no exception. At 5 little weeks she was extremely curious and very wide eyed for the majority of the session. She preferred to be clothed (very modest little girl) but I was able to get her asleep and naked at the same time for ONE shot. She was surprisingly photogenic for 5 weeks and we were able to fill up an album with her images I am so excited for mom to see the finished product. Your baby girl(s) are beautiful!
