Mamas boy ~ Newborn Photographer Brentwood / Oakley

I have a soft spot for pictures of Daddys with their children.  Maybe it’s the way men interact with children as if they are half scared they are going to break them, or just seeing these generally strong and in control figures look vulnerable next to a barely 2 foot tall being that can hardly make out the word “Dada.”

Admittedly,  I have had a tear come to my eye in seeing a portrait of a Mother holding her newborn for the first time with an expression that only another mom can understand. It’s just that Mother/children photos are so much more abundant. But every now and then I come across a portrait of a Mother with her child that strikes me. This time I get to proudly say, “I created that!”
