So a while back I posted on facebook that I was looking for newborn models for something exciting! It’s finally here. I was given the opportunity to put a display up in TL Cakes cupcake shop in Downtown Brentwood. Originally I just had a small corner in mind with one or two photos where I could display my work, but Tena (if you are familiar with her work) thinks big! It turned into an entire wall with eight cupcake themed portraits! I had so much fun incorporating cupcakes into the photo shoots and could not be more excited to say they are finally on the walls!!

Happy New Year! I am so excited for 2012! I have so many projects and exciting things in the works and everything is on schedule for me to officially have a “Grand Opening” this year. YES YES I am in business now.. (Bring me those babies 😉  … but this past year has really been a start up year. Learning how to turn a passion into a business is surprisingly a challenge. Thank you again to everyone in 2011 who gave me the honor of capturing their newborns in their first week of life. I LOVE what I do and more importantly being able to do what I Love! Cheers to all the beautiful babies of 2011 and the birth of many healthy and happy babies in 2012!
