I hope no one minds if I share personal sessions. This little darling and her two older brothers are the children of a good friend of mine. I photographed her when she was newly born and I could not say no when she asked me to document her one year milestone!
Before and After Share!
Another newborn turned a year old! Mama lives quite a ways from here and does not have access to too many photographers so I agreed to do a small session for her. (Look at this cutie though how could one resist?) I have a few I will share, but for fun thought I would share a Before and After. We had to let this little dog join our tea party to appease our model. How on earth the dog is hanging on her shoulder in this shot is beyond me and mom. It happened to be one of our favorite shots (and the only one with a mysterious rainbow!) so I had to reach into my bag of photoshop skills to remove him!

Baby S was a dream! She smiled the moment we sat her down in front of the camera as if to say, “Make sure you get my best side and wake me when you’re done.” I got her best side no doubt, but everyone knows you don’t purposely wake a sleeping baby and so home she went eyes still closed! Thank You so much for letting me capture your new love!

A few months back I was approached by some friends to do something a little different. They wanted to announce to their family and friends that they were expecting through pictures. I, being a firm believer that a thousand words couldn’t come close to conveying most images, was happily willing to help! And so we did the session that I shared with all of you here. I was hoping that I would see them again 7 months later to help build my maternity portfolio but they came back a little sooner with something more in mind. It’s got me thinking of some great packages to put together when I launch the maternity side of my photography!

“The Gender Reveal”
Growing up in this town I’ve seen a lot of change but the spirit of family remains constant. This festival was just one of the many ways we show it! Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth. The wind started to pick up a bit later in the afternoon so I took everything down just a little early, but it gave me just enough time to visit the petting zoo and pony rides. Thank you so much to the “pony man” who let my little girl have a ride even though it was time to close it down!
